Charity Update

Marathon runners in Black & White

Not for the faint hearted!

On Friday 3 March, Matt braved the walk over smouldering hot coals reaching temperatures of around 1200 degrees Fahrenheit and then if that wasn’t enough hundreds of broken glass bottles too!

It certainly was a case of mind over matter and after his brief training he was straight on it. Thank you to everyone who came along to support us. Heart of Kent Hospice is a wonderful charity and we are extremely proud to be Club 100 members and to have sponsored this event. If you would like to find out more about how you can support HOKH take a look at their website www.hokh.org.

The second event was a little less dangerous but equally as challenging as Matt completed the Maidstone half marathon in just 1 hour 41 minutes and 26 seconds! Very proud to achieve his personal best.

Thank you to everyone who has sponsored Matt, we really appreciate it. If you haven’t had a chance yet but would like to sponsor, it’s not too late. Please visit our Just Giving page bit.ly/2kqDXnJ.
