Here at Project 64 we will never undertake or start a branding project without first carrying out what we call a “Brand Workshop.” Any agency can create you a logo, but what does it mean? And more importantly, what does it stand for? How can anyone design a new logo without first going through a process to understand your vision for the business.
We undertake a strategic process before we start any conceptual work to ensure that we fully understand the aims and objectives of the business. This way when we do commence creative, we have full rational to pin point why we have done what we have. We have factual evidence to say the reason why we chose this font or this colour was as a result of some inspiration that came out of the brainstorming session.
Our process is broken up into six core steps

The key areas covered during the workshop will include the following:
- Market Research
- Problems you face
- Understanding the issues you face
- Where are you now?
- Where could you be and are you strategically capable of getting there?
We will also look to carry out the following:
- Visual Audit
- Verbal Audit
- Behavioural Audit
- Competition Audit
- Peer Audit
The workshop usually takes place over the course of a half day and can be carried out either at our studio or in your offices on location and we ask for a maximum of 10 people from split roles within the business. We do this to make sure we don’t just get the view of the directors, but also of the staff/people who work in the business on a daily basis.
We need to ascertain during this process what it is that makes you different, what is your USP. What is it that makes your business different to every other business in your sector. Once we uncover this, it’s like finding gold and will aid the design process.
